An elated Pat Cummins claimed that Australia have reached "the pinnacle of international cricket" after winning the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 in India. Speaking to the media after their six-wicket win over the hosts, Cummins said that "winning a one-day World Cup", especially in India is "huge". On Sunday (November 19), the Aussies produced a clinical performance to overwhelm favourites India at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad for their record-extending sixth title. "It's just every international team comes together. You only get a shot at it every four years. Even if you have a ten-year career, you might only get two chances at it. And yeah, it's just the whole cricket world stops with this World Cup. So, it doesn't get any better," added the star all-rounder. (Video: ICC)
