With the first devblog for the War Thunder end of year update released we are given the exciting news of Rank 8 tanks being introduced to War Thunder, allowing the introduction of the most modern of tanks like the American M1A2 Abrams SEPV3, German Leopard 2A7, Russian T-90M and many more!

However we are given little information on what will be included, with the bulk of the devblog instead focusing on the introduction of Rank 7 premium tanks, these being the American M1A2 HC "Click-Bait" and the British Challenger 2 Operational Entry Standard (OES), allowing the users of these tanks to quickly lead the way in researching the new Tier 8 tanks!
