A US warship, the USS Carney, and multiple commercial ships came under attack in the Red Sea on Sunday, according to the Pentagon. The attacks were carried out by ballistic missiles fired from areas in Yemen controlled by the Houthi rebels, hitting three commercial ships. While responding to the attacks, the USS Carney shot down a total of four drones. A Houthi military spokesman claimed two of the attacks, saying the first ship was hit by a missile and the second by a drone. However, he did not acknowledge attacks on the USS Carney.
