There is now a new deal for the ownership structure of Atlantic LNG in Point Fortin.

bp says the National Gas Company - the NGC - will increase its equity share in Atlantic LNG, consistent with the commitment by the Government to maximise value to the country from the sale of hydrocarbon resources.

The Prime Minister says this latest development shows that large multinational companies in the hydrocarbdon sector "have a heart".
