New figures show burglary rates across the capital during the festive season.The highest spike in burglaries over the Christmas period are recorded in the London boroughs of Bexley and Redbridge, new figures have shown. Across the year, London’s average burglary rate is 8.68 crimes per 10,000 residents per month. Between November and January, however, that figure jumps by 21 per cent to 10.34 per 10,000 residents.
