A passenger plane caught fire after landing at Haneda Airport in Tokyo, Japan, after colliding with a coast guard aircraft on the runway. All 379 passengers and crew on the passenger plane were safely evacuated. Five crew members on the Coast Guard aircraft died in the collision. The fire initially started on the plane's side and wing before spreading to the cabin. The Coast Guard aircraft was flying to provide earthquake relief in Niigata prefecture. The cause of the collision is still under investigation.
