Samsonite luggage is now being made right here in T&T.


This is the boast of Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley who told an audience on Wednesday that the last Samsonite suitcase he bought some time ago was proudly branded, 'made in Europe', but the one he has today is branded, 'made in Trinidad and Tobago'.

He said that high quality, famously-branded luggage is now being made at the Phoenix Park Industrial Estate which was officially opened on Wednesday.
