Young Indonesian rider Ilham Pramudya, 16, lost his life during the Kapolresta Mamuju CUP I road race, held at the Sirkuit Arteri in the village of Rangas, Western Sulawesi, Indonesia. It happened on Sunday, 29 December 2019.

About 15h15, Pramudya lost control of his motorcycle while taking a curve, crashed into a tyre barrier and fell onto the track where he was hit by another rider. He was transported to Banjarmasin Hoegeng Iman Santoso hospital in Simboro where he passed away.

Born in 2003, Ilham Pramudya lived in Saleppa and was a student of SMA Negeri 1 Rangas school. Son of a local restaurant owner, he was an avid motorcycle and bicycle racing competitor.
