आचार्य द्रविड़ ने बताया कि अगर किसी मंदिर के द्वार नहीं बन जाते और जब तक मंदिर ढका नहीं जाता तब तक प्राण प्रतिष्ठा नहीं हो सकती. लेकिन राम मंदिर का प्रथम तल बनकर तैयार है. वहां दरवाजे भी लग गए हैं और गर्भगृह भी ढका है. आचार्य ने ये भी साफ किया कि प्राण प्रतिष्ठा से पहले वास्तुशांति होगी. साथ ही बलिदान और ब्राह्मण भोज भी होगा. ऐसे में प्राण प्रतिष्ठा पूरी तरह शास्त्र सम्मत है.
