Winter is the most difficult time of year for the NHS, there are far more pressures than other times of the year, mainly down to a massive increase of patients due to the cold weather. This year has been particularly cold at times, and our health service is feeling the brunt of it, but despite missing targets, some parts of the NHS is performing better than expected.
