Fisheries Department director-general Datuk Adnan Hussain told a press conference on Sunday (Jan 21) that the department was still investigating recent incidents of the stealing of cockle spats in Sekinchan, Selangor.

He said the authorities had heightened enforcement at sea and on land to curb the rampant activities.
