Police Commissioner Erla Harewood-Christopher told the chairman of the Joint Select Committee on National Security, Keith Scotland, that the Police Service has had successes in disrupting criminal gang activity.

Mr Scotland wanted the top cop to tell the nation specific actions being taken by the police to deal with what he called "the brazeness of criminals", in an apparent reference to violent crime in this country.
