Brexit has hit the UK floral industry harder than most. With flowers having a short shelf-life, and the industry heavily reliant on imports and exports, experts warn that the lack of trade deals with the European Union might make bouquets harder to find, and more expensive.

Since the UK left the European Union through popular vote on January 31, 2020, florists say their daily lives have become more difficult. With long lines forming at ports of import and export, these green-thumbed-growers fear their hard work and their crops; maybe left to wilt.
