Malaysian job seekers who are trying to capitalise on the present high currency exchange rate have been cautioned by the Malaysian High Commission in Singapore to be wary and avoid falling victim to scams while pursuing lucrative jobs in the Island Republic.
Malaysian High Commissioner to Singapore Datuk Dr Azfar Mohamad Mustafar said that at a special Chinese New Year open house gathering at his official residence on Saturday (Feb 17) and advised job seekers to be vigilant due to instances of individuals being promised certain jobs that turned out to be non-existent upon arrival in Singapore.
Dr Azfar also encouraged Malaysians seeking assistance to reach out to the high commission for support.
