Beautiful spots all around Wales were illuminated with by the Aurora Borealis on Sunday evening. The northern lights were spotted at beauty spots as far south as Pen y Fan and Rhossilliy bay near Swansea. Green lights are the most common, but pinks, purples, yellows and reds were spotted around Wales.

The ongoing covid inquiry taking place in Cardiff has found that Wales’ chief medical officer Sir Frank Atherton described the situation at times as an ‘omnishambles’. He said a lack of information from a UK level and poor administrative help heightened issues between UK nations, including different rules at different times.

Rolls Royce are set to create over 100 jobs in Cardiff to provide nuclear reactors to submarines. The plans include another hundred jobs in Glasgow, and comes as part of a new deal between the UK, US and Australia. The Cardiff offices are hoping to attract people with a background in mechanics, design and engineering.
