ಮಾಲ್ಡೀವ ಒಂದು ಸಣ್ಣ ದೇಶವಲ್ಲ. ಅದು ತನ್ನ ಸ್ವಂತ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಮೇಲೆ ನಿಗಾವಹಿಸಲು ಸುದೃಢವಾಗಿದೆ. ಹಿಂದೂ ಮಹಾಸಾಗರದ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇಶದ ಭದ್ರತೆಯನ್ನು ಖಚಿತಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡ ಕ್ರಮಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ಹೊರಗಿನ ಪಕ್ಷವು ಚಿಂತಿಸುವ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಮಾಲ್ಡೀವನ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಪತಿ ಮಹಮ್ಮದ ಮುಯಿಜ್ಜೂ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
