NU Lady Bulldogs hand UST Golden Tigresses first loss

The NU Lady Bulldogs handed the UST Golden Tigresses their first loss of the UAAP Season 86 women's volleyball tournament, taking their second straight win in the process, 23-25, 25-17, 25-21, 25-20, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Sunday, March 24.

Bella Belen continued her all-around play with 24 points, 13 excellent digs, and 10 receptions for NU, which avenged its first round defeat to UST to rise to 7-2, third in the standings.

UST still leads the pack with an 8-1 record.
