Almonds, water from the nearby Karez Well and the juice of fresh grapes from her orchard are the key ingredients in Gulishan's marzipan. Xinjiang-based grape farmer Gulishan recalls how her grandmother made the local marzipan when she was a child. It was natural. When Gulishan became a mother herself, she wanted to continue the tradition of making it so that her son could enjoy the unique combination of natural flavors.
