French President Emmanuel Macron has "no doubt" that Russia is targeting the organisation of the Olympic Games, "including in terms of information", by suggesting that Paris is not ready. He also denounced the "baroque and threatening" comments made by the Russians after the meeting the previous day between the two countries' defence ministers, Sebastien Lecornu and Sergei Shoigu, which gave rise to "a manipulation of the information" in Moscow's account, according to the head of state, who was speaking on the sidelines of the inauguration of the Olympic Games aquatic centre in Paris. Russia has suggested that the French secret services may have been involved in the Moscow attack.
