A man visiting the Great Southern has been praised for rescuing a woman who was swept off rocks at popular fishing beach. Thirteen people have drowned at Salmon Holes in the Torndirrup National Park since 1983 – local authorities say it’s a stark reminder of the dangers of the south coats.
