Addressing an election rally in Jorhat constituency, Himanta Biswa Sharma said the Congress' election manifesto is more suitable for elections in neighboring Pakistan than in India. The Congress manifesto is dividing the society on the basis of communities. This is the politics of favoring a community, which I strongly condemn.
ಜೋರ್ಹತ್ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಚುನಾವಣಾ ರ್ಯಾಲಿಯನ್ನುದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಹಿಮಂತ ಬಿಸ್ವಾ ಶರ್ಮಾ, ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್‌ನ ಚುನಾವಣಾ ಪ್ರಣಾಳಿಕೆಯು ಭಾರತಕ್ಕಿಂತ ನೆರೆಯ ಪಾಕಿಸ್ತಾನದ ಚುನಾವಣೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಸೂಕ್ತವಾಗಿದೆ. ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಪ್ರಣಾಳಿಕೆಯು ಸಮುದಾಯಗಳ ಆಧಾರದ ಮೇಲೆ ಸಮಾಜವನ್ನು ವಿಭಜಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಒಂದು ಸಮುದಾಯದ ಓಲೈಕೆ ರಾಜಕಾರಣ ಇದಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಇದನ್ನು ನಾನು ತೀವ್ರವಾಗಿ ಖಂಡಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ ಎಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
