UTAS forced to sell hotels amid drop in international students

The university of Tasmania is selling two Hobart hotels it purchased with the intention of housing international students, but the university say the downturn in international student numbers looks to be permanent, so the hotels are no longer needed. Critics of the universities plan to move to the CBD are hopeful this signals the university is abandoning the plan.
