A 38-year-old Point Fortin man was shot dead near his Techier Village home on Tuesday night.

Relatives say the victim left home after receiving a call to meet someone a few streets away, to collect payment for a job he had done.

Relatives told our reporter Cindy Raghubar-Teekersingh at their 19th street home on Wednesday that the victim was gunned down while he was waiting for his hard-earned money.
