Gurmeet Ram Rahim was convicted of conspiring to m-urder Ranjit Singh, former manager of Dera Sacha Sauda, in 2002, due to a controversial letter about s-exual exploitation. In October 2021, Ram Rahim and four others received life sentences. Additionally, Ram Rahim was convicted for the mu-rder of journalist Chhatrapati and is serving a 20-year term for r-aping disciples. Parole requires permission.
