An elderly man from Canberra, Manfred Yool, has been charged with the murder of his wife. The 86-year-old made a brief appearance in the ACT Magistrates Court today via a video link from his bed in the Canberra Hospital. He was arrested at a family member's home yesterday after police discovered his wife, Wanda Yool, deceased in their Tuggeranong residence.
