In this hilariously painful video, Ian, with all the confidence of a pro-BMX rider, decides to show off his skills by attempting to jump over a barricade. However, things take a disastrous turn as he crashes spectacularly.

Undeterred by the bruised ego and sore body, Ian dusts himself off and decides to give it another shot.

With determination in his eyes and a newfound respect for gravity, he pedals back to the starting point and launches himself over the barricade once more. This time, he sails over it with ease, landing on the other side triumphantly.

Goes to show that true cyclists never back down, even if they have to learn the hard way.
