Pilot Whale Calf Dies Day After Rescue in Southern Taiwan

A beached pilot whale calf has died one day after being rescued in southern Taiwan. A rescue team found the calf in weak condition and transferred it to a whale rescue center where it died. Veterinarians conducted blood tests and say that the whale died from high stress and inflammation.
