A Netherlands fan lost a full pint of beer while posing for a television camera at his team's Euro 2024 game against Poland on Sunday.
The incident occurred just before kick-off at Hamburg's Volksparkstadion after the man spotted a camera panning across his path.
He responded by cheering and raising the beer in his right hand.
This beer survived but another fell out of the fan's left hand after a stray ball from the pitch struck him on the jaw.
Footage of the unfortunate incident was then shared by BBC Sport via social media.
The comments section on X (formerly Twitter) was full of people praising the fan for not dropping both pints.
'Sucker punch and still kept hold of that beer,' read one comment.
Another fan wrote: 'Well done sir'.
The Netherlands went on to win the game 2-1 thanks to a late goal from former Manchester United forward Wout Weghorst.
Weghorst came off the bench to net the winner in the 83rd minute.
Liverpool's Cody Gakpo had earlier bagged the Dutch side's equalizer after Adam Buksa headed Poland into a shock lead in the 16th minute.
