ACT could ban Canberrans from buying new gas appliances

Canberrans could soon be banned from buying new gas appliances as part of the capital's transition to an all-electric city. It's an idea included in the government's new Integrated Energy Plan, which steps up the process in order to electrify the city and meet a target of net zero emissions by 2045.
