### Description
The Apollo 13 mission was the seventh crewed mission in NASA's Apollo space program and the third intended to land on the Moon. Launched on April 11, 1970, the mission experienced a critical failure when an oxygen tank exploded two days into the mission. The crew, consisting of Commander James A. Lovell, Command Module Pilot John L. Swigert, and Lunar Module Pilot Fred W. Haise, faced severe hardships as they worked with ground control to safely return to Earth. The mission became renowned for the successful and resourceful efforts of the crew and NASA to overcome the life-threatening crisis, leading to the famous phrase, "Houston, we've had a problem."
