The Fraternal Order of Police criticized the US Secret Service for failing to secure the roof of the building from which the shooter fired at a Trump rally, calling it a "security failure". FOP President Patrick Yoes praised the heroic actions of Secret Service agents and other officers who responded quickly and saved Trump's life. Yoes noted that state and local law enforcement usually assist the Secret Service with security at events, and are concerned comments questioning this support could damage cooperation. The shooting left one man dead while protecting his family, and two others critically injured. Investigations are underway by President Biden and Congress.
