Richard Milhous Nixon (January 9, 1913 – April 22, 1994) was an American politician who served as the 37th president of the United States from 1969 to 1974. A member of the Republican Party, he previously served as a representative and senator from California and as the 36th vice president from 1953 to 1961 under President Dwight D. Eisenhower. His presidency saw the reduction of U.S. involvement in the Vietnam War, détente with the Soviet Union and China, the Apollo 11 Moon landing, and the establishment of the Environmental Protection Agency and Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
Here the President lovingly sings The Tricky Dick
Lyrics:
Oval office secrets
Late night creeping slow
Watergate whispers
Nixon on the go
Tapes keep on rolling
Hiding what you say
Smiling for the cameras
Tricky all the way
Tricky Dick's the name
Playing the sneaky game
Caught in all the shame
But still I claim my fame
Enemies list longer
Friends so far away
Cover up the scandal
Every single day
Tricky Dick's the name
Playing the sneaky game
Caught in all the shame
But still I claim my fame
Hiding in the shadows
Spying like a sleuth
All the world is watching
Trying to find the truth
