Iran's President-elect Masoud Pezeshkian met with leaders of Palestinian Islamic Jihad and Lebanon's Hezbollah in Tehran ahead of his inauguration on Tuesday.

Pezeshkian, endorsed by Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, discussed regional tensions with Islamic Jihad chief Ziad al-Nakhala and Hezbollah's deputy leader Sheikh Naim Qassem.

Amid escalating tensions over the Israel-Hamas conflict and Iran-backed Hezbollah activities, Iran issued a stern warning to Israel against further actions in Lebanon following a deadly rocket attack on the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights.
