A room full of reporters got off on the wrong foot with Manchester City's Erling Haaland, last weekend, after failing to say greet the star striker.
Haaland was attending to media duties at a pre-season press conference on Saturday before City took on AC Milan in a friendly at the New York Yankee's stadium.
But the conference started stuttering after Haaland walked into the room without so much as a 'hello'.
'Hello, everyone,' Haaland said, as he sat. He was greeted with silence.
'Say hello, then!' he quickly followed up, raising his arms in dismay. The room obliged sheepishly, murmuring a hello in response.
When the conference finished, the 24-year-old ace got to his feet and thanked the room.
The journalist's response was swift. 'Good response,' Haaland quipped with a cheeky smile.
The Norwegian striker certainly entered the friendly against AC Milan in high spirits, opening the scoring in the 19th minute.
But the Blues would go on to lose after Milan's Lorenzo Colombo netted twice in quick succession in the 30th and 34th minute.
And despite City's midfielder James McAtee leveling the game in the 55th minute, Marco Nasti would fire home to put Milan back in the lead, before the Rossoneri sealed the victory.
The current Premier League champions conclude a disappointing pre-season away to Chelsea on August 3.
They play hometown rivals Manchester United for the Community Shield trophy at Wembley, the following week.
