About this obscure studio band - Charles Fry and his Million Dollar Pier Orchestra - I could hardly find any information. This great recording was made in 1928. It should not surprise listeners that personnel is unknown, but I nevertheless found one picture of the band on a sheet music cover (first picture). Lovely vocal by Lewis James.
