Nobel Peace laureate Muhammad Yunus took charge of Bangladesh's caretaker government on Thursday (Aug 8 ), hoping to help heal the country that was convulsed by weeks of violence, forcing Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to quit and flee to neighbouring India.
