Ed Sheeran is mobbed by shoppers at Hertfordshire supermarket as hundreds gather to watch him serve up pizza and his new hot sauce during latest surprise appearance
Ed Sheeran was mobbed by hundreds of fans as he made yet another surprise appearance on Tuesday - this time at a Sainsbury's store to promote his Tingly Ted's hot sauce.
The singer, 33, turned up at the London Colney store in Hertfordshire delighting those merely popping out for a low-key midweek shop.
Tingly Ted's - owned by Heinz - was launched last March and offers two sauces - 'Tingly' and 'Xtra Tingly' and retails for £3 a bottle.
He pulled up in a bright orange branded truck shocking locals and was serving up slices of pizza with the sauce on - all with a huge smile on his face.
For fans he signed everything from blocks of cheese and CDs to kitchen roll - which has since been put on eBay - with the sauce as special momentos for those who visited the pop up van.
