Donald Trump visits town with ties to white extremism

Donald Trump today visited a Michigan town where, one month ago, white supremacists marched through the streets and chanted “Heil Hitler” while carrying signs that read “White Lives Matter”.

Howell, a town of some 10,000 people northwest of Detroit, has historic ties to white extremism. In the 1970s, Robert Miles, a senior figure in the Ku Klux Klan, had a Howell mailing address and held meetings on a nearby farm.
