Jammu and Kashmir is gearing up for assembly elections for the first time in the last ten years. The first phase of polling for 24 seats started on Wednesday. In this, 16 constituencies are in Kashmir and another 8 seats are in Jammu.
జమ్మూ కాశ్మీర్ గత పదేళ్లలో తొలిసారి అసెంబ్లీ ఎన్నికలకు సిద్ధమైంది. బుధవారం 24 సీట్లకు తొలి విడత పోలింగ్ ప్రారంభమైంది. ఇందులో 16 నియోజకవర్గాలు కాశ్మీర్ పరిధిలోనూ, మరో 8 సీట్లు జమ్మూ పరిధిలోనూ ఉన్నాయి.
