The President of the Trinidad and Tobago Chamber of Industry and Commerce says that three foreign investors have shied away from this country because of the high level of crime.

The Chamber's president says this resulted in the loss of a couple million U.S. dollars in foreign investment.

And a former Independent Senator says crime and the challenge in getting foreign exchange must be addressed for the local economy to move forward.
