It is important that when you first invite Kuman Thong into your house, you should place him on a shelf lower than the Buddha statues in a suitable location and introduce him to his new environment. If you are wearing a Kuman Thong amulet, do not wear it over a Buddha image, and if you are worshipping an idol of Kuman Thong, do not face the west or put them at the end of your bed or under the stairs. It is better not to put Kuman Thong with other idols of worship.
We know that each master has their own Katha to chant to their own Kuman Thong. But the first ancient Katha for Kuman Thong is usable if you have faith in them.
Before inviting Kuman Thong into your house, you must take special care to inform Phra Mae Thoranee (The Mother Earth); Phra Mae Thoranee is highly revered and worshipped by Thai, Laos, Cambodia, and Myanmar people. Countries that did not worship Mae Thoranee may also call her name in respect and request permission from your Guardian Deities and any resident spirits protected there. Such as Datok Gong, Earth God “Tu Di Gong,” Door Gods “Menshen,” and the Buddhist saints in your household shrine to seek their permission and blessings.
