Israeli forces continue their aggressive operations in the Gaza Strip, clashing with Hamas militants in a series of intense ground battles. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) recently announced a major success in their campaign, confirming the elimination of Mahmoud al-Mabhouh, Hamas's drone operations chief, in a precision airstrike.

Al-Mabhouh had been responsible for overseeing drone attacks against Israel and its troops, making his removal a significant blow to Hamas’s aerial capabilities. The IDF’s 162nd Division has also been engaged in fierce face-to-face combat with Hamas operatives in the Jabaliya area, further targeting key positions in their ongoing mission to neutralise threats in the region.
