Vice President Sara Duterte revealed on Friday, Oct. 18, that she once imagined "chopping off" President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos' head.

Duterte said that this realization happened at a graduation event when one of the graduates asked for the president's watch as a graduation gift, but Marcos declined.

Duterte said she wanted to tell Marcos that the child he was speaking to was someone who would be 'ready to die for the country' and could have been part of the nation's forces in the 'West Philippine Sea fiasco.'

At that point, Duterte, who wasn't feeling well, said she had the urge to "chop off" his head. She later realized that her relationship with President Marcos had already become 'toxic.'
