Delhi's former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has faced a setback from the court regarding his statements on PM Modi's degree. The Supreme Court has dismissed his petition. Gujarat University's Registrar, Piyush Patel, had filed a defamation case against Arvind Kejriwal and Sanjay Singh over their comments, following which the trial court issued a summons to Kejriwal. To quash this case, Kejriwal initially approached the High Court, but the court refused to stay the summons. Subsequently, he approached the Supreme Court, but no relief was granted there either. Earlier, AAP MP Sanjay Singh had also sought relief from the Supreme Court in this case, but his petition was dismissed by the top court in April this year. Now, Kejriwal has faced a similar setback from the Supreme Court.
