Best friends who set up a business together saw demand for their 'glitter freckles' increase by 2500% - after Taylor Swift was snapped wearing them.
Aliett Buttelman and Nina LaBruna, both 28, started Fazit - a beauty company - in 2022.
They started out exclusively selling skin care patches - help clear, acne, nose pores and ingrown hairs - before developing glitter freckle makeup patches after seeing "incredible" results.
Earlier this month, Taylor Swift was photographed attending her long-term boyfriend Travis Kelce's Chiefs vs Saints NFL game in Kansas City, Missouri, US.
In the photograph, the global superstar was wearing glitter freckles from Fazit - and the pals say their sales increased by 2500% overnight.
Aliett, from New York City, US, said: "I feel like I blacked out, Taylor Swift is the icon of our generation.
"We had an influencer message us saying that she thought Taylor Swift was wearing Fazit freckles - my Instagram page was going mental.
"My fiance caught me sobbing - at that moment I was feeling validated from all the hard work we put into the company."
On October 7, 2024, Taylor Swift was papped heading to show her support at the Chiefs vs Saints game.
Pictures online showed the Shake It Off singer wearing a glitter make-up patch - costing £13 - and immediately orders started flooding in.
Aliett said: "Overnight the sales started to come through rapidly.
"Beauty to international news was covering the moment - Taylor Swift doesn't usually make a dramatic difference with make-up so everyone noticed.
"Swifties like to really coordinate their outfits and this was a really great product to add to their look."
Since the pictures went viral, Aliett and Nina's business has experienced the 'Taylor Swift effect'.
She said: "Starting off with the brand awareness and the media attention - sales skyrocketed in the first 24 to 48 hours.
"Not only sales but request for partnerships and retail relationships.
"We had the foundation in place to support a moment like this but Taylor Swift has really accelerated the path of success for us."
