T-Mobile exceeded expectations for quarterly wireless subscriber growth, driven by discounted plans bundling streaming services like Netflix. The company's customer growth is fueled by its more affordable high-speed 5G plans compared to AT&T and Verizon. T-Mobile has experienced strong adoption of its premium plans, which include streaming services. Over 60% of new customers, as well as existing customers changing plans, are opting for these premium offerings, according to President of Marketing Mike Katz. Shares were up 2% in premarket trading.
