Zeeshan Siddique, son of late politician Baba Siddique, joined the Ajit Pawar-led faction of the Nationalist Congress Party on October 25 morning. This comes days before Maharashtra goes to polls. Zeeshan Siddique was expelled by the Congress party in August. Siddique was expelled by the party for cross-voting in legislative council polls. Siddique will contest from the Vandre (East) seat.
