The charges proffered against Datuk Seri Najib Razak are valid and correct in law, says the High Court.

Justice Collin Lawrence Sequerah, who is reading his decision in the RM2.28bil 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) trial on Wednesday (Oct 30), said that it was the contention of the defence team that Najib's charges were "defective, duplicitous, and ambiguous".
