Slim till Dead (also known as "Sul Sun") is a 2005 Hong Kong film directed by Marco Mak and stars Anthony Wong Chau-sang (黃秋生) and Cherrie Ying Choi-yi (應采兒). A police detective searches for a brutal killer who targets skinny women competing in a beauty contest.
Police Inspector Wong Tak (Anthony) must track down a serial killer whose victims are starved, mutilated, and killed, and weighing exactly 70 pounds. The victims have an unexplainable link to a TV show which runs a beauty contest called "Slim Queen", where they appear as contestants. The plot thickens as Inspector Wong Tak and his wife, Ling (鄧萃雯 Sheren Tang Shui-Man), an ex-detective herself, race to find the murderer before more contestants end up dead.
