Li Xiang, tormented by the mysterious disappearance of his parents during a scientific experiment, relentlessly searches for the truth hidden behind the Kunlun Mirror. A car accident sends Li Xiang, along with his friends Lu Yao and Yu De Shui, "through" into a parallel world via the Kunlun Mirror, landing them in the kingdom of Lazeqi. The three face numerous perilous challenges: battling stone creatures in a locked room, fighting against a giant undead python, and much more. As his friends sacrifice themselves one by one in the parallel world, Li Xiang makes the ultimate sacrifice to fight against the Candle Dragon, inadvertently awakening a special power within himself.
